The Stone Soup Novelist

I have a great idea for a novel. You know what would make it even better?…

What is some of the freakiest weather you’ve ever encountered?

I’m trying to imagine what weather might be like on another planet.  What’s the weirdest weather you’ve ever encountered on Earth?

Bright sunny day and I thought: Let’s drive to the other side of the island to watch the sunset. Halfway there we drove into a line of fog. Literally! It was a fog bank across the road with a clearly defined edge! We drove in and it was instantly down to zero visibility.
We drove home to have a beautiful sunny evening. The fog never reached us.

The giant, baseball-sized hail that took out windows, tree limbs and EVERYBODY in 3 counties’ roofs. It sounded like an alien attack and then it looked so odd to have ice covering the ground when it was warm outside.
